Future Industries Sector Strategies

The Victorian Government has launched the Future Industries Sector Strategies, together with the Sector Growth Program.

The Future Industries Fund is now open for applications. You can apply for funding under one of the following programs:

  • $5 million Future Industries Manufacturing Program
  • $20 million New Energy Jobs Fund
  • $20 million Sector Growth Program.

Funding Opportunities

Automotive Supply Chain Transition Program

As part of the plan, the Government has established the new $5 million Automotive Supply Chain Transition Program to support Victorian automotive supply chain companies affected by the closure of passenger vehicle manufacturing in Victoria.

Local Industry Fund for Transition

The Government has also established a Local Industry Fund for Transition (LIFT) which aims to support workers, communities and businesses affected by the closure of large scale passenger manufacturing in the State. The fund includes; grants of up to $2 million to support projects worth over $200,000, that create sustainable jobs and economic activity in each of the regions.

Future Industries Manufacturing Program

Grants for up to $500,000 are now available under the Manufacturing Program to assist companies to implement new manufacturing technologies and processes that will provide a critical foundation for growth.
